Although I love messing around with photoshop, my true skills lie in the realms of music.
I've been lucky enough to get to work with Dean Garcia over the last year or so. A guy who was the driving force behind a band called Curve that changed my musical tastes for ever. Curve were, in the early to mid nineties, a true force for change, crushing together the ear splitting elements of Industrial grind, Shoegaze guitars, Dance driven drums and all held together with a flowing dubby bass.
Curve aren't around anymore but Dean certainly is and has his fingers in many musical pies!
One of which is INKRAKTARE, this is the project we've been working on together and I'm happy to say the fruits of these labours are now ready for your consumption.
5 tracks giving you over 40 minutes of huge drums and liquid bass fighting against a squall of glitchery and distortion. Dark, moody and a little bit groovy

Previously I've produced my own front covers but having been hanging around dA for a while now I've seen so much amazing stuff that I really wanted to approach someone about using some of their work.
My previous efforts (which I may well upload to dA later) have all been rather abstract, this time I wanted to use something more firmly rooted in reality while still reflect the odd nature of the music.
Foximilq [link] was the answer.
Her photos exude this kind of sexy, mischievous oddness. It all seems a little off kilter, the oft distorted images leave you to fill in the blanks and create stories to fit to them.
The perfect match to the music.
All I've done to the two images is add a splash more contrast, place the text over them and crop or border where needed to make it square.
The images are in my Gallery.
So thanks to Dean, Foximilq and Fwonk*
Bring the noise!
